So I guess this means it will be released in 2010, hopefully. I’m really waiting for this one. Farrell’s made some great movies in the last few years. It seems he’s found his niche in independent films. He’s got a lot of range and capable of much more than the Miami Vice kind of movies.

I hope this plays at some American festivals too. Has it played at an American film festival yet?

Just at the American Film Market, which is a buyers market and not a film festival for the general public. There were well over 400 films screened at AFM this year, but hopefully some good news will come of that for the states on this film. Since it has not been released in the states yet, I suppose that leaves it open for US film festivals in 2010 and I think Santa Barbara Film Fest is one of the earliest US film festivals. It takes place in early February. So it’s possible.

This movie is on my must-see list ever since I saw the trailer. Too bad I don’t live in Toronto.
